Thalassa Foundation participated in the Our Ocean Conference, which was held on 15-17 April in Athens. More specifically, Thalassa Foundation was present at the Youth Leaders section, talking to the young people of the Conference about its activities in Alonissos and its vision for the replication of good examples to other island regions of the country, while the Vice President of the Foundation, Vera Alexandropoulou, participated in a panel on Blue Professions. Thalassa Foundation also participated in the OOC film festival with the film of the Alonissos Scouts Alonissos “National Marine Park – The natural wealth of the Galaxy of the Aegean Sea”.Finally, it should be noted that as a member of the Monk Seal Alliance, Thalassa Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NECCA for the implementation of a program dedicated to the protection of the Mediterranean seal.
