An important artistic initiative with a significant environmental added value will culminate in the Sporades islands next week, from June 3 to 5, 2025. The National Marine Park of Alonnisos Northern Sporades has inspired the creativity and imagination of more than 100 students from Skiathos, Skopelos, and Alonnisos, who enthusiastically participated in the three student art competitions, organized by the Thalassa Foundation, contributing their unique visual and literary creations.
Next week, on the occasion of World Environment Day (June 5) and World Oceans Day (June 8), there will be an award ceremony for the students who distinguished themselves, along with the awarding of prizes as well as commemorative gifts for all students who took part in the competitions. At the same time, all the students’ artwork will be displayed in an exhibition that will “travel” to all three islands, so that residents and visitors can admire the excellent work of these young “Picassos” that raise awareness through their message about protecting marine ecosystems.
